Student Planner 2026

We are currently hiring for a Student Planner to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small collaborative team, and gain exposure and experience working on a broad range of major projects across key industries for both government and non-government clients.

We offer a supportive workplace environment with numerous opportunities to get involved to better grow and develop your skills. Working on large-scale projects will enable you to graduate with practical industry experience and valuable client exposure.

We have offices in the heart of Manly and on the doorstep of Martin Place, and there will be opportunity to work in both locations.

Key tasks include:

  • Preparing Environmental Impact Statements

  • Preparing Statement of Environmental Effects

  • Preparing and assisting with Planning Proposals

  • Assistance with large urban renewal master planning projects

  • Assistance with Government policy and major project assessments

 

Selection criteria

This position will suit individuals who are highly motivated and keen to learn a variety of new skills in a busy consultancy.

  • Currently undertaking a Bachelor of City Planning or equivalent

  • Highly motivated and willing to develop their skills

  • Positive attitude with an excellent work ethic

  • Basic knowledge of the EP&A Act 1979 and associated legislation

  • Good verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of computer programs

  • Ability to work with clients, specialist consultants and local authorities

  • Good time management skills

  • Valid right to work in Australia
